Even knowing very well it's just filled with air, and the house'll deflate as soon as the plug's pulled, the kids were enjoying the moment like there's no tomorrow.  

Heck, the photograph will keep the memory :)

Car Show

There were car shows, and some other camera exhibitions, PC fairs and all that I've been to; but for an average joe who has no budget to buy a new car/camera/PC/etc (that's me), satisfactions I had from the photowalk would be my only yardstick to decide if it was a good show.

I went for a photowalk at the recent KLIMS (Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show), and found VW had the coolest booth; it was refreshing to find an electric guitarist enjoying himself next to a Beetle Fender, just like the VW website.  Not only I got to check out the car, we even exchanged notes on his guitar and my camera.

The lightings at the site were not exactly brilliant; often under-lit and with weird mixture of colours.  It didn't help as I didn't bring a flash and were dependent entirely to whatever available lights onsite.  But of course I still managed some pretty bright shots  :)

Never mind I couldn't effort a deposit just yet, but I found my dream car!

It was a 'rooting' trip when I was in Hainan visiting my father's childhood village.  Everything's back to basics, including the 100 years' old houses built with stones, and still in use.

The Bubble Man

He didn't carry anything with him, just kept shooting soap bubbles by the walkway.  Didn't look like he's selling Bubble Guns.  Wonder if he's hired by the shop owner to attract customers or if he's an artist making bubble art?
